In the gourmet world, dried beans and lentils are enjoying a renaissance. A staple of many a global cuisine dried beans and lentils are extremely versatile.

Dried peas, beans and lentils are used extensively in Indian cooking. They are high in protein and are a good source of Iron and Vitamin B and more importantly when cooked correctly, tastes fabulous!

They can be made into wonderful soups, infused with herbs and vegetables. They can be used in salads or can be puréed and served as a dip or spread
High in protein and fibre and low in fat they have an enormous range of flavours and textures. Fudco’s range represents the most commonly used beans and lentils in Indian cookery. The term "daal" refers to a bean or lentil which has had the outer husk removed and the remaining lentil is then split.
